Helen Skelton

Helen Skelton is a versatile television presenter, radio broadcaster, and author, best known as a regular host of the BBC’s flagship daytime show Morning Live.

Helen co-hosts Channel 5’s travel series Yorkshire Great and Small with Dan and Helen alongside Dan Walker. The show celebrates the natural beauty, culture, and hidden gems of Yorkshire, and returned for a second series in 2025 with the duo exploring iconic landscapes, meeting local characters, and showcasing the region’s unique heritage. She also continues to present Channel 5’s On the Farm series, including Springtime on the Farm and Winter on the Farm, bringing inspiring stories from farms across the UK to viewers. Helen also co-hosts Coastal Adventures with Helen, Jules & JB on Channel 5, teaming up with Jules Hudson and JB Gill to explore Britain’s dramatic coastlines, diving into wild landscapes, meeting local characters, and uncovering the country’s coastal treasures.

Helen has an extensive broadcast career across television and radio, having appeared on BBC’s Countryfile and ITV’s Tonight, as well as hosting her own Sunday morning show on BBC Radio 5Live and covering regular programmes on BBC Radio 2. She also has significant experience presenting live sport, including Women’s Super League football for BT Sport, BBC Olympic coverage, the World Aquatics Championships, and Channel 4’s Superleague Rugby.

Her successful BBC series Lost and Found in the Lakes, which follows Helen as she leads a team of experts to uncover lost treasures in the Lake District, will return for a new series in early 2026. The series was BBC One’s highest-rated unscripted show in its slot in the past year.

Helen is also a published author, having released two children’s books and her debut autobiography, In My Stride: Lessons Learned Through Life and Adventure, in October 2023.

In addition to her broadcast work, Helen collaborates with multiple brands, including Go Outdoors, Argos, Victoria Plum, Sainsbury’s, Warburton’s, and Virgin.
