In 2022, Dav became the youngest-ever player selected in The Hundred draft and only the third Black female professional cricketer in the UK. By 16, she had represented England at the U19 Women’s T20 World Cup and now plays for the Bears in the Vitality Blast and the Northern Superchargers, where she continues to impress.
Last summer, Dav made history with a stunning century in the Women’s Hundred – the fastest ever by a female player and the second-fastest in the tournament’s history. This all led to her being nominated for The BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year 2025, The Sunday Times Young Sportswoman 2025 and voted as the PCA Women’s Young Player of the Year.
Beyond cricket, Davina’s laid-back personality and effortlessly cool aesthetic shine through her social channels. Her love of coffee even takes centre stage in her barista series, over on TikTok.
Widely regarded as one of the most exciting young all-rounders in women’s cricket, Davina is set for a bright international future.
