Jamie Redknapp is a former professional footballer and Sky Sports Pundit.
A former Liverpool FC captain and England international with 17 England caps. Jamie also previously played for a Bournemouth FC, Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton. Jamie is now a regular pundit for Sky Sports football, providing expert analysis Premier League across their Premier League & Carabao Cup coverage. He is also a long-standing Team Captain on A League of Their Own, Sky’s twice BAFTA award-winning comedy sports panel show, which celebrated it’s 20th and final season in 2025. In 2024, the League of their Own team filmed their 8th Road Trip series to Mexico.
Following the 2022 World Cup, Jamie and his father Harry starred in their own Sky Max series, Jamie & Harry’s World Cup Challenge: Got, Got Need, a three-part road trip special in which the duo set out to build their dream World Cup team. The pair also previously fronted for Sky Redknapp’s Home Fixture (2020) and Redknapp’s Big Night Out (2021).As an author, Jamie released his first memoir: Me, Family and the Making of a Footballer in 2020, followed by. ‘Harry & Jamie Redknapp – A Family Obsession’ in 2024.
