One of her biggest career highlights and achievements was competing in the 2008 100m Olympic final in Beijing. She was the first British woman to do so in 24 years, and the only one, man or woman, to do it since. Since retiring from injury and becoming a journalist in 2014, Jeanette moved effortlessly into the broadcast world and is a presenter and pundit for BBC Athletics, BBC Women’s Football Show and Women’s Super League.

Jeanette led BBC Sport’s live coverage of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. From the BBC’s studio in central Paris, Jeanette and JJ Chalmers co-anchored a live breakfast show each morning, welcoming audiences to the day’s events.

From December 2024 she will be co-hosting BBC 5Live’s Weekend Breakfast.

Jeanette is the co-host of The Martin Lewis Money Show which airs weekly to 4 million viewers and returns in October 2024.

She became the first black female UK TV presenter ever to host a boxing production on a terrestrial channel and she continues to present boxing events on Channel 5 today.

Jeanette is also a huge basketball fan and brought the 2023/2024 British Basketball League season to linear and YouTube each week on Sky Sports.

Jeanette also works closely with BBC flagship shows The One Show and Morning Live.

An experienced host and speaker, Jeanette has worked with brands ranging from Google, Nike, Twitter and BMW. She also works closely with the IOC and IAAF as a moderator.
