John Robins is one of the most critically acclaimed stand-up comedians of his generation. Known for his sharp wit, emotional honesty, and unique comedic voice, John has built a dedicated following across radio, podcasting, and live performance.
He co-hosts the hit BBC Sounds podcast called ‘Elis James & John Robins’, and previously presented a show on Radio X with Elis for 5 years. John also co-hosted Beef’s Golf Club with Andrew “Beef” Johnston and the award-winning podcast How Do You Cope?
In 2024, John was crowned the winner of Channel 4’s Taskmaster.
In 2017, John received the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Award for his show ‘The Darkness of Robins’. His most recent stand-up tour, Howl, sold out venues nationwide in 2023.
John has also toured the UK alongside Elis James with Elis & John: That Feels Significant Live! (2025) and Made Up Games (2023).
