Nadia Jae is a dynamic broadcaster and award-winning radio DJ
As the host of the ARIA Award-winning BBC 1Xtra Breakfast Show, Nadia has interviewed some of the world’s biggest names, including John Legend, Stormzy, Usher, Daniel Kaluuya, Michael Ward, and Little Simz.
Her presenting credits include working with the likes of BAFTA, Disney, Marvel, The MOBO Awards and Wireless on BBC One and BBC Three. She has also appeared on BBC One’s Blankety Blank, Mastermind and Richard Osman’s House of Games. Nadia is also a regular contributor on ITV’s Love Island: The Morning After podcast.
In 2024 Nadia co-hosted the relaunched Official Doctor Who Podcast with Shabaz Ali on BBC Sounds. The podcast was described as the ultimate group chat for Doctor Who fans, offering discussions, fan theories, and exclusive content related to the show to align with the new series.
In partnership with the BBC, Nadia released her debut book Raise Your Voice in 2022. The book offers practical tips on building confidence, overcoming stage fright, and utilizing various forms of media like writing, broadcasting, and podcasting to share personal stories.
A sought-after DJ, Nadia has performed at iconic venues and events including The BRIT Awards, Lovebox, indigO2, and Fabric. Additionally, she’s worked with major brands including Adidas, ASOS, Netflix, John Lewis, Gordon’s, Invisalign and Beats by Dre.
