Sophie Morgan is a Broadcaster, Travel Expert, and Disability Advocate

An award-winning TV presenter and disability advocate who has fronted shows including Living Wild (Channel 4), the Paralympics and Loose Women (Panellist). Sophie has also won specialist travel writer of the year at the Travmedia Awards 2025 and was also named Primark’s inspiration role model of the year.

Co-founder of production company Making Space, which partnered with Reese Witherspoon’s production company Hello Sunshine – Making Space aims to place disabled talent front and centre and give a voice to those within the industry to tell untold and unexplored stories.

Sophie has made award-winning current affairs documentaries, travel programs and consumer affairs shows including Dispatches and Unreported World. 

Sophie’s remarkable documentary, Fight to Fly, aired on Channel 4 in the summer of 2024, showcasing the mistreatment of disabled passengers during travel. This documentary was born from her spearheading the global disability rights campaign ‘Rights On Flights’. The campaign is calling for the Government to grant the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) the powers to fine airlines if they fail to look after disabled passengers. This has taken her to the Houses of Parliament, Number 10, and to meeting the former President, Joe Biden, in the United States.

Sophie was voted as one of the Top 10 most influential people with a disability in the UK, she is one of the only television presenters with a disability in the world.

She is a proud patron of Scope, Back Up & Human Rights Watch.

In 2025, Sophie worked with Primark to develop the first ever seated female mannequin and manual wheelchair. The ‘Sophie’ mannequin, is now in 20 Primark stores across nine markets with plans to expand. She has partnered with major brands such as Can-Am, PADI, and AirBnb to promote their Adapted Category. 

Sophie is a monthly Columnist for Conde Nast Traveler and also writes for Wanderlust, The Telegraph and The Times.
